Steven C. Davis

Steve Davis received degrees in agricultural economics and accounting from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated first in his class in 1983, served on the Oklahoma Law Review, graduated Order of the Coif, and received various awards. He has also been a CPA since 1980. Steve has practiced with Hartzog Conger Cason LLP since 1983, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, trust and estate planning, post-death administration and tax law. At all times since the early 1990s, he has been recognized for excellence in each of his practice areas by independent rating services such as Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and the Chambers USA Guide, and in 2023, he was inducted into the OSU School of Accounting’s Hall of Fame. Mr. Davis has served his communities in numerous ways, as a member, and often chair, of numerous civic and exempt organization boards, leadership positions in his church and as the chair or manager of operating businesses in the fields of agriculture, banking, venture capital and technology. Mr. Davis served as a trustee of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation for nine years and, in 2017, began his role as an ex officio member of the board.
