Christin V. Mugg, Of Counsel, Phillips Murrah P.C. and Edmond City Councilor

Christin Mugg grew up in Oklahoma City, where she attended Putnam City. North High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Letters in 1990 and received a master’s in business administration in 1994. While attending OU, she was named Outstanding Senior Woman and selected for membership in PE-ET, Phi Beta Kappa, and Beta Gamma Sigma. She received a Juris Doctor from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1998, where she was editor in chief of the OCU Law Review, a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar, the Oklahoma Bar Association Outstanding OCU Law School Student and graduated first in her class.

Mrs. Mugg is an attorney concentrating on complex estate planning and planned charitable giving. She is a member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma Association of Charitable Gift Planners, the Texas Bar Association and Oklahoma County Bar Association, and she is Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®. In addition to her legal practice, she is an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University School of Law teaching estate planning. Mrs. Mugg currently serves on the Edmond City Council. She established Mugg Winston in June 2005 and merged her practice with Ball Morse Lowe PLCC in 2022. Mrs. Mugg previously worked as an associate with McAfee & Taft from 2000 to 2005 and with Hartzog, Conger & Cason from 1998 to 2000.
